More Coming Soon
New course information coming soon. We are enhancing the 5K and 10K course routes in 2023. It will still start and finish in Sunset Park and will continue to use paths and will now also use streets.
About the 10K course and the 5K course
The 10K and 5K course loops and uses paved and groomed dirt path routes in the Sunset Regional Park in Las Vegas. Both have minimal elevation changes of approximately 60 feet. The 10K completes two laps.
Run or walk the timed 10K or 5K with fast, flat routes perfect for attempting a new PR (personal record or personal best). Whether you are running to win or a fun, leisurely run or walk is more your style, you will enjoy Pride Run Las Vegas.
You have 2.5 hours to finish the 10K or 2.25 hours to finish 5K. The 10K starts first, followed by the 5K.
Sports strollers, running chairs, handcycles, sports wheelchairs, prostheses, walkers, and canes are allowed on each course and start with runners and walkers.
Pride Run Las Vegas does not allow pets on the course or at the celebration party and health & wellness expo for the safety of pets and participants. 10K course directions
Lap One: Complete lap 1 starting with leg 1, followed by leg 2, followed by leg 3. Skip collecting a finisher medal upon completion of lap 1 and instead collect it upon completing lap 2.
Lap Two: After completing your first lap and crossing the midpoint, complete lap 2 starting with leg 1, followed by leg 2, followed by leg 3.
There will be a directional sign indicating the start of each leg, so you know what part of the course you are on. It will help you in areas where the route goes in two directions because each direction will indicate its leg.
